Currently Listening to: Catholic Podcasts

I was never really a podcast listener, but now that I am driving long distances to visit family and running longer distances, I've turned to podcasts as an alternative to listening to music for hours straight. There are so many good podcasts out there, but I want to highlight three awesome Catholic Lady podcasts thatI've found!

Do Something Beautiful: If you don't know Leah Darrow's story, check out her website here. She's amazing, and has such a beautiful testimony. Plus, she keeps it real, on her blog, on her Snapchat and on her podcast. Her podcast is called Do Something Beautiful, based on the quote from St. Teresa of Calcutta who said, "Do something beautiful for God. Do it with your life. Do it every day. Do it in your own way, but do it!" She talks to people who are inspirations and add beauty to the world by living their life for Christ. She talks about everything from friendship to fashion to motherhood and priesthood, and she loves to ask people who they would be in Lord of the Rings (which I love!) Give her a listen here:

The Catholic Feminist: I just started to listening to this podcast by Claire Swinarski, and the tag line is this is a podcast for "strong Catholic women who want to be inspired, informed and intentional". I have loved this podcast so far, and it discusses true femininity, and what it means to be a strong woman and a Catholic, and how those two aren't mutually exclusive, as the world sometime says it is.  I just listened to her episode interviewing Lisa Cotter of Made to Magnify, and they talk about Dating with Dignity in modern culture. Super current and super inspiring! Give her a listen here:

Among the Lilies: Among the Lilies is the podcast by Camron Fradd (who we pray has a speedy recovery) and it is a podcast about real life. She's a momma, and she talks about motherhood, but also talks about real life as Catholic women, whether you be single or married, and the things we all experience. I particularly love her interview with Sarah Swafford on the crazy, beautiful mess we call womanhood, and her interview about being a single lady when we may not want to be, and how people who are married can support their single friends (I am going to listen to that one multiple times!) Its authentic, its raw, and its real. Give her a listen here:

So many of the same beautiful women and men appear in some of these podcasts, and I'll have to create a list of their blogs and videos from talks soon. For the time being, I hope you enjoy these three podcasts!

Are there any others I should listen to?
