Today is the feast day of St. Maximilian Kolbe, priest and martyr, who gave his life for another in Auschwitz. He is quoted with saying "the most deadly poison of our time is indifference". He gave his life for another to fight against that evil, and lived out the verse “Greater love than this no man hath, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” - John 15:13 .
His quote reminds me of another quote by a man who lived through that time period, and then spent his life fighting against evil. "Indifference to me, is the epitome of all evil." Elie Wiesel.
Indifference, definedby the dictionary as: lack of interest, concern, or sympathy.
I left Women's Group with the Young Adult Women of my parish tonight just filled to the brim, feeling so full of God's love by seeing Him working in so many women in wonderful ways, and being seeing all of the women being so supportive of each other on their journey of faith.
In a time when women, young and old, are seen cutting each other down in person and on social media, it is beautiful to see the gift of authentic female friendship, and the power and depth those relationships can have.

There are so many good podcasts out there, but I want to highlight three awesome Catholic Lady podcasts thatI've found!
